What should we wear?
Winter: We recommend layers and winter gear, gloves and goggles especially if you’re riding at night. Most people will wear ski/snow pants, warm boots and winter jackets. We do have some snow gear for rent on a first come-first served basis. We also have a selection of hats, gloves, neck gaters, socks and hand warmers for sale.
Summer: Shorts and T-shirts are fine. We do require close-toed shoes.
Are helmets required?
Helmets are required for anyone under 18 and we recommend that everyone wears one. We provide complimentary helmets for anyone that needs one and you are welcome to bring your own.
Is there parking?
We have plenty of free parking with space for cars, trucks, buses and vans. Look for our signs at the bottom of the hill on the left as you pull up.
How old do you have to be to tube?
Kids aged 3-5 must ride in double tubes with a supervising adult and kids aged 6 and up can ride in double or single tubes. For summer tubing, riders must be at least 6 years old.
Are restrooms available?
Yes, we have restrooms on site.
Do you sell drinks and snacks?
Yes, we have concessions including water, sodas, beer and wine as well as snacks and s’more kits and hot cocoa available at our concession stand by the ticket kiosks.
What safety tips should I know before tubing?
Your safety is our top priority! Before you ride, we encourage all guests to watch our “How to Tube” safety video. It covers the basics for a smooth, fun experience. The most important tips: always clear the lane quickly at the bottom so the next rider has plenty of space. And always make sure your phone and keys are in secured pockets! Our staff will be on-site to help guide you, but following these simple steps keeps the hill safe and fun for everyone.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. Every tuber, regardless of age, must have a signed waiver prior to tubing. We recommend reviewing and signing the waivers online to get you on the hill faster, but you can also sign them when you get here.
Why aren’t my tickets printing at the Kiosks?
Tickets will not print until all members of your party have completed a waiver. And they won’t print at the kiosks if you have already printed them elsewhere. Either way, come on in to the warming hut and we’ll get it sorted.
What if I have a big group?
You’re in for a great time! For parties with more than 15 participants, we recommend making your reservations online or calling our office at 970-726-5779. We’re here to help.
When are you open for the season?
We have both winter and summer tubing! While it all depends on the weather, we’re typically open from Thanksgiving through the end of April for winter and are ready for summer tubing when the snow melts—typically at the end of May. For up to date hours click here.
