  • 1) Where is the Colorado Adventure Park located?

    Answer:
    The CAP is located at 566 County Road 721 (the Fraser Parkway), next to Fraser, Colorado.
    Traveling from Denver, take I-70 west to Exit 232 onto Highway 40. Pass the Winter Park Ski Resort and continue through the Town of Winter Park.
    At the stoplight in Fraser by Safeway, turn left onto County Road 72. After the railroad underpass, STAY RIGHT. The Adventure Park is on the left at the bottom of the hill.

     

  • 2) Where can I park?

    Answer: 
    We have a large parking lot with lots of available space for Cars, Trucks, Buses and Vans at our Warming Hut located at the bottom of the hill.

     

  • 3) Does the CAP accept credit cards, cash and checks?

    Answer:
    The CAP accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. At this time, we do not accept checks

     

  • 4) Does the CAP offer a group discount?

    Answer:
    Yes. Please call for all the details.

     

  • 5) Does the CAP host parties and groups?

    Answer:
    Yes. Please call for all the details.

     

  • 6) What should I wear and bring with me?

    Answer:
    Be sure to wear warm, waterproof clothing; snow pants, coat, mittens, and boots. Bring goggles or sunglasses to protect your eyes and sunscreen and Chap Stick to protect your skin. Helmets are required. You are welcome to bring your own, or rent one of ours.

     

  • 7) Does the CAP have restrooms?

    Answer:
    Yes, we have large, clean restrooms that are easily accessible for all participants.

     

  • 8) Where do you suggest we eat?

    Answer:
    For a quick snack on the go, stop by the new Winter Park Market located in The Village at Grand Park. (970-726-4704).
    Hernando’s Pizza (hernandospizzapub.com) is great for dinner with the family.

    Azteca Mexican Restaurant (970-726-4145) has a fantastic authentic Mexican cuisine and a great atmosphere for the whole family and is great for the budget. Be sure to check out the Margarita fish-bowls!

    Fontenot’s (fontenotswp.com) has a wonderful Cajun-American cuisine.

  • 9) How can I get there?

    Answer:
    From the Amtrack train station in Fraser?
    We are located about one mile from the train station. It is very walkable, but give us a call and we will get you taxi. For a large group, we can definitely coordinate transportation for you.
    From the Winter Park Ski Resort? 
    We are located about 8 miles from the resort. We recommend the following options:

    1.  The Free Town Resort Shuttle has lots of stops throughout the Towns of Winter Park and Fraser (times and routes subject to change)
    2.  From the Winter Park Ski Resort take the Black Line to the Fraser Valley Center (Alco)
    3.  We are located a few hundred yards from the bus stop in the Meadow
    4.  Walk under the Railroad underpass and STAY RIGHT
    5.  We are located at the bottom of the hill at the Warming Hut
    6.  Let us call you a taxi.
    7.  For a large group, we can definitely coordinate transportation for you.

     

  • 10) Do I need a reservation?

    Answer:
    Reservations are not necessary, but are recommended for parties over 15 participants. Please call 970-726-5779 or 970-726-8600.  We can also coordinate reservations by emailing info@coloradoadventurepark.com.

     

  • 11) Grand Pass Non-Profit

    Answer:
    With a Grand Pass you will be able to utilize the pass for one hour of free Tubing. To purchase a pass and do see what other benefits the Grand Pass has to offer please visit, www.grandfoundation.com

     

  • 12) How old do you have to be to participate?

     

    Answer:
    Tubing Participants must be 3 years or older to participate in snow tubing.

  • 14) If we’re looking for a home or rental who do you suggest we contact?

    Answer:
    Grand Park Real Estate (970-726-8700) features beautiful properties such as;
    Grand Park (grandparkco.com), a master-planned resort community, and
    Cozens Pointe condominiums (cozenspointe.com) which have spectacular views of the Byers Peak.
    Visit Winter Park Lodging offers rental properties in the Fraser Valley with and easy-to-book service.
    Stay Winter Park offers a variety of rental needs throughout Winter Park and the Fraser Valley.

     

  • 15) Are you open in the summer?

    Answer:
    The CAP is currently developing summer programs for the 2025 summer season.

     

  • 16) When do you open for the season?

    Answer:
    Typically we open right around Thanksgiving for the season and close around the end of April!  Check out our facebook page for live updates!

    As we plan to always operate our normal business hours 7 days a week.

    Current Hours:  Monday- Sunday 9am-7pm. CLOSED AS OF APRIL 28TH, 2024.  SEE YOU NEXT SEASON!

    Last tube rental at 6pm!

    but it never hurts to call ahead 970-726-5779 as snow conditions change.

     

  • 17) Concessions

     Answer:

    We offer a wide variety of snacks and drinks at the warming hut. We also be hot coco and coffee for those cold winter days.  For the adults we offer beer and wine as well!
